Clean Surfaces with Warm Soapy Water

First, wash all surfaces, implements and objects with warm soapy water to remove visible dirt and grime. Regular dish detergent is perfectly fine. You can wash the outside of eggs to remove chicken faeces if they come from your own chickens. Store bought eggs are inspected by the USDA, cleaned, and coated with an tasteless oil to protect the surface, so no cleaning is necessary.
